1. IntroÂ
Welcome to RUN SOCIAL, we are excited to have you and running with us!!
We are a social running club, for people to meet and greet, and chitter-chatter together; so please come along and feel free to strike up conversation with anyone. Bring any friends, or colleagues, or anyone, and have a fun time!
The route is approx a 5km loop, that you can do half, once, twice (whatever you want). You can ‘get off’ at any station, office, bridge or wherever works best for you!

2. The Run and Pacing
Aside from the social benefits, the health benefits involved are important to us too.
Wednesday Club will have a gentle pace, great for endurance building, and putting some mileage into your legs. Super beneficial to be building a foundation of fitness on.
We do run at a steady pace and are accommodating for people, however our route has been put together to enable people to finish at a convenient location for them. So if you are struggling a bit, and finding it tough, feel free to drop off and head to the nearest station - we’ll see you again the week after, and maybe you’ll go a bit further the next run!
Loop 1 - 5k Approx 30 min. 6:00 p/km pace
Loop 2 - 10k Approx 27-29 min 5:40 p/km pace

3. The Loop
We imagine most people will be coming direct from work, and so we have designed our loop to make sure these offices are easily accessible from the route.

4. Getting There
The meet point is on London Bridge. RUNSOC will share a live pin via WhatsApp from 6pm.
Location: London Bridge
Time: Meet from 6.00pm - Start 6.20pm
We ask everyone to take a jog to the meet point to be already warm and ready to go.Â
There are also a number of Boris Bike stations around if you’re cycling, and likewise if you’re renting an e-bike via Uber/Lime you are able to leave it there with no additional charges. There are very limited e-scooter parking.Â

5. Getting Home
Our loop was created with convenience in mind. Whatever distance you’re running with us you should feel able to get off the run at any point and at the location best suited to you - don’t feel like you must finish at London Bridge.
As we pass the many key stations, office locations, and bridges on both sides of the river, it should make it very easy to peel off when you’re ready to do so.

6. Useful bits and bobs
- We don’t have anywhere to store bags (apps like Stasher do provide that service around London Bridge station).
- There is a Tesco’s located 50m away for drinks and snacks
- Pret Subscripers… there’s a Pret 25m away from the meet point!
- We don’t have any toilets (but there are plenty of coffee shops, bars, restaurants etc all within a 30 sec walk if you have to go!)
Any Q’s please get in touch one of the RS Ambassadors!
See you at Wednesday Club
