RUNSOC Hackney meets at 6pm every Wednesday at Peoples Park Tavern,
360 Victoria Park Rd, London E9 7BT.
 
We set off at 6:30pm at 6:00minKMs cruising around Victoria Park, doing the classique unfunky figure of 8 and ending up back at the café, clocking in at just over 5k (3.1 miles). We also have a Slowcial group headed out at 7-8:00min KMs!
 

Nearest underground station is Bethnal Green  and overgrounds are Homerton and Hackney Wick. The 388 bus also stops right outside the tavern. For those travelling by car, there's Victoria Park car park, and there's bikeracks at the Tavern as well as toilets. The Peoples Park Tavern allow us to drop our bags whilst we run, and we tend to stick around for a social after the run every week.
 
RUNSOC Hackney takes full advantage of one of London's nicest parks and one of its most vibrant boroughs. Whether you're just starting out or training for another ultra, RUNSOC is open to everyone and we run together, as a group, upholding RUNSOCIAL's values of community, socialising and networking. RUNSOC Hackney is a hub of London's many social scenes and it's expected (especially in Summer) to lead into some social situ's utilising the park wherever possible! We still want to live by our values and encourage people to do good things for themselves so we won't be filing into pubs for beers...
