Lisbon - Half & Full Mazza

RUN SOCIAL will be heading off to Lisbon for one of the worlds most spectacular running events! RUNSOC will be creating a welcoming and supportive group from October 6th - 9th in Lisbon for those who want to go abroad and put their Summer and Autmn training to good use. Tickets for the race start at €60 for the Half and €80 for the Full (ticket link below). 

RUNSOC only provide a loose itinerary of where we will be and what we are going to be doing, it is up to you to book your own trip individually so it can work best around yourself. If you would like to a join a group to share accomodation please join the WhatsApp community to see meet with others. Our trips are a little different - we don't profit from them or book anything for you. We just let you know where we'll be and when and it's up to you to book yourself so you get the best price possible and can make your own travel arrangements. There will be an AirBnb accomodation for people who wish the share the cost of accom. As it stands:

• Sunday 6th: Race day & Celebratory pastel de nata's
• Monday 7th: Vamos back home 

EDP Lisbon Marathon is already considered one of the most beautiful races in the world and acclaimed by international media such as the Forbes Magazine, the Huffington Post, and American Express. Starting in Cascais and finishing at the square: Praça do Comercio, the EDP Marathon course is 100% sea and riverside, providing to the runners a unique view along with the race. The EDP Lisbon Marathon is an official race of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) calendar, This international event is, attracting the top elite athletes and thousands of foreign runners from all over the world.

Lisbon Luso Half Marathon is one of the most popular events in Portugal. Its 21 km route starts from the Bridge Vasco de Gama, finish line is at Praça do Comercio, a historical symbol of the city of Lisbon in front of the Tagus.
