Ever wonder what it's like to run with the other RunSoc communities in their locations? Well here's your chance! This spring and summer, we'll be doing the rounds of all the RunSoc communities in London...Hackney, you're up!
Come to RUNSOC Hackney just before the Hackney Half that weekend and take full advantage of one of London's nicest parks and one of its most vibrant boroughs. With lakes, canals, greenery, and city views, RunSoc Hackney is the perfect location for a Thursday evening run. Meet us at People's Park Tavern (bag drop provided) at 6:15pm to start the 6k at 6:30pm, which will take us round Hackney.
The fun doesn't stop there...Join us afterwards for some drinks and nibbles as we enjoy 20% discount off at People's Park Tavern! You can order off the menu, paying directly and the 20% discount code will be included. Please be respectful of the venue!

Timings: 6:15pm: Meet at People's Park Tavern for bag drop
6:30pm: 6k run around Hackney
7:15pm: Arrive back at People's Park Tavern for drinks and nibbles!
Pace: 6:00/6:15min per KM and 7:00/7:15min per KM paces available!
Nearest underground station is Bethnal Green and overgrounds are Homerton and Hackney Wick. The 388 bus also stops right outside the tavern. For those travelling by car, there's Victoria Park car park, and there's bikeracks at the Tavern as well as toilets.
